First, I would like to thank Their Graces Tom and Sigrid for seeing me through the first months of my tenure as Kingdom Seneschal. It has been an extremely busy reign and I truly want to express my gratitude for being a great Crown to work for.
Second, I NEED BIDS! 2016 Crowns and Coronations! We cannot have a Kingdom without these events. The bid deadline for spring events has passed but I have yet to see any bids. Please send them ASAP! Third, I would like to talk about reporting. I know paperwork is not fun. I am sure you are thinking but Eilis you love paperwork. I don’t love it but I do understand its importance. Having written records protect us from lost knowledge and to record what has been done. The KEM and the Kingdom Exchequer have sent out recent missives about this as well. I urge you to pay heed to the deadlines they have set down.
Sometimes it seems like our hobby is too much work but if we all do our bit it makes it easier on the next person up the chain. If you have questions or problems, please consult your regional or Kingdom officer right away. A big part of our job is to help local officers. Remember we are here to help each other and to have fun.
