Greetings unto the populace of Northshield,
I am pleased to be your new Chancellor of the Exchequer. I would like to thank The Honorable Lady Sefa Farmansdottir for her efforts to bring our Kingdom practices and policy up to date. Her endless service and dedication ensures Northshield’s financial position remains strong and secure.
For my term in office, I would like to focus on communication and opportunities to provide support and resources for branch exchequers. Understanding the Society’s expectations is important for exchequers and non-exchequers alike. I want to hear about challenges local groups are facing and I am dedicated to working towards solutions.
Going into the summer event season, I would like to remind event stewards, exchequers and gate staff of the change in terminology regarding Non-Member Surcharge (NMS). Event fees should be listed as an adult event registration and an adult member discount event registration. In addition, it is imperative the NMS report is completed and received within 10 days from the end of the event.
