Hello, Northshield,
I hope all can attend the Coronation of Hrodir and Yehudah hosted by Border Downs and Svaty Sebesta in Yankton, SD. It will be an historic moment for Northshield and the SCA. I look forward to seeing you there.
Speaking of Coronation, we need bids for 2017 Coronations and Crowns. If you have questions about the bid process and what is required to
host a Kingdom event, please contact me. I am happy to walk you through the process. Bids for Spring Coronation and Crown are due September 30. Bids for Fall Coronation and
Crown are due January 1.
We have few small law changes in this issue concerning language in a few award descriptions. Please look them over and send commentary to Their Majesties, Their Highnesses and me.
I am pleased to announce the next Kingdom Seneschal will be THL Eysteinn meinfretr. In light of this news, I am now in need of a new Eastern Regional Seneschal. This position is
responsible for assisting the Kingdom Seneschal in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan by monitoring membership levels, reporting compliance, and providing local assistance in problem mediation and resolution. If you are interested in this position, please send SCA and mundane resume to seneschal@northshield.org by September 1.
