October brings us Crown and a chance to witness who will rise victorious among the bold and the brave. I am sure it will be a great day for Northshield. Per Kingdom Law, an alternate date for Crown must be set. Boar’s Head has been designated as the alternate.
I am still looking for bids for 2017 Fall Coronation and Crown. If you have questions about the bid process and what is required to host a Kingdom event, please contact me. I am happy to walk you through the process. Bids for Fall Coronation and Crown are due January 1.

In other deputy news, Kolbrunna Gisladottir has served this Kingdom well for over four years as Stallari Secretary. She now wishes to step down. Bazyli Boleslaw z Krakowa, Kingdom Chatelaine,
has also expressed his desire to step down. Please contact the current officers if you have questions about the job duties. To apply, please send in your modern and SCA resume to me by December 1.
I would like to remind everyone who is stepping up as group Seneschals to fill out the online form AND the paper form. I need BOTH forms before I will approve the change. The paper form lets me know the change has been discussed and approved by your group. The online form updates website and Northwatch information.
