Greetings, Northshield!
It is my great honor to assume the duties of Chronicler. I wish to thank Mistress Belle for all her efforts in this office before me.
Unlike most other kingdoms, we keep space open in The Northwatch for articles and artwork, so it is more than just a list of legal items such as the calendar, court reports, and event announcements. As such, I am looking for items and themes for next year’s issues. Any ideas and submissions are very welcome! Please send to northwatch@northshield.org.
The January theme will be Volunteering. The SCA is built on volunteers, all of us pitching in to help to make our Society function. So while any articles are appreciated, ones with a volunteer focus will be preferred.
I am looking for a Deputy Chronicler. This person should be familiar with desktop publishing, preferably using InDesign.
Also, I am catching up on the duties of the Kingdom Chronicler. I should be at Boar's Head and Nordskogen’s 12th Night, and would appreciate meeting with local group chroniclers to collaborate and share ideas.
Finally, I will need all local choniclers to fill out their quarterly reports by December 1, 2018. The Online Report form can be found at http://northshield.org/Officers/Reports/ChroniclerReport.aspx.
