This month I’ve asked Lady Viviane de Corvaria to give a brief update on the status of the efforts to promote diversity and equity in our Kingdom. --- In 2018, recognizing a need for clarity and consistency in addressing conflicts and inequalities, our Kingdom Seneschal, Master Ealdred of Malmesbury, began gathering volunteers with diverse backgrounds and a shared goal of strengthening our community. This committee is working to build educational resources, integrated reporting and conflict resolution networks, and more inclusive and responsive approaches to support the code of conduct and core values outlined by Society policies. It is messy and important work; our culture has abundant opportunities for growth, and we look forward to supporting this Kingdom on its path to inspiring the highest standards of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
