Greetings, Northshield!
I’m pleased to be taking over as Kingdom Exchequer. My goal for my time in office is to get everyone on track with reporting, both for events and for regular quarterly reporting. That may include reminder emails when regular reporting is due, new Northshield versions of the forms we typically use, and revisiting how the forms we use are made available on the Kingdom website.
I’d like to strongly encourage any exchequers who are having difficulty with reporting to contact your Regional Exchequer sooner rather than later. They can look through the forms you send and offer suggestions to correct any issues you’re having. They also need to know if you’re going to be late with any reports. Their job is to help you; make use of them if you need them!
Speaking of Regional Exchequers, I had to step down as Western Regional in order to step up as Kingdom Exchequer, which means we need a new Regional Exchequer in the West. You don’t need to have been an Exchequer to do this job, but familiarity with Excel would be a plus. You don’t even need to live in the West to fill this role, but it would be nice if someone out there would step up. If you’re interested, please contact me, and I’ll provide more details of how the job works.
