In the morning, Court was opened, and we acknowledged that we were on the traditional and ancestral land of the Anishinabe [aNISH in aah bay] and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, [oh-CHE-tee shah-KOH-ween] peoples.

The opportunity to swear Oaths of Fealty was offered to all estates of the Realm.

Combatants and Consorts processed into Court to present themselves to Their Majesties. Some were boasted in by personal Heralds, which added to the dignity and entertainment of the day. Several had words of introduction and inspiration for the assembled populace.

Once all were assembled, the List was Invoked, Court was suspended, and Crown Tournament was held. The final pair was Sir Yngvar inn Heppni, fighting for Maestra Isabella Beatrice della Rosa, versus Baron Ulrich Aeowulf MacNaughtine, fighting for Lady Æsileif Gylfisdóttir. Sir Yngvar and Maestra Isabella were victorious.

Following raucous cheering, the field was opened for pick up fighting, and many combatants whiled away the remaining afternoon in glorious battle.

Once all were spent, Court was reopened. Prince Ygnvar and Princess Isabella were invested as heirs to the Griffin thrones. Vivant!

Mistress Eliane Halevy sang a celebratory song that she had composed especially for the occasion, as requested by Her Majesty, Queen Mary.

Northshield News Correspondent Judith of Northwode caught us all up on the latest happenings in the Kingdom with the segment, "Here's what you missed!"

Their Majesties added Noble Arnora Þunkarr to their Royal Guard. Vivat!

n addition to the above items, His Majesty Lars gave Duke Tom Tinntinnabulum and The Honourable Lord John Le Salvage pieces of his Crown Sword.

Several newcomers received mugs and words of welcome from Their Majesties.

Their Majesties and Their Highnesses spoke briefly about the day, and then, as there was no further business, Court was closed.
