Show up and Help the Shire of Darkstone Demo at the City of Ashland 4th of July Parade!

The Shire has been doing this for many years and the City looks forward to us coming out. With interest from other Shires, we are advertising this as a local demo this year.

Arrive by 10am. Parade starts 11am. Parade ends 1pm

No fees since this is a demo

Activities:

We need marchers to carry a banner and a flag.
Someone to drag the Water Wagon.
Armored Combatants
Rapier Combatants
Cut and Thrust Combatants
Constables to watch out for people.

Folks to drive us back to the beginning.

Meeting place will be near the Deepwater Grill. When I know the exact line up site the day of, I will post it to the event. If not, wait in front of the Deepwater Grill and we will find you. Please RSVP so that we know to look for you.

Note: This is an athletic event! 1 mile of total walking and up to 2 hours in the sun on pavement! It doesn't move very fast, but it is constant. Please come out and support our recruiting efforts. Get-together at Master Cy's house to follow the parade. Usually involves flaming sacrifices of various types involving a charcoal grill.
