Kaaren fled her homeland to escape the evil dastard that wanted to imprison and torture her. She spent many years in hiding, forsaking her talents, her family, and her friends, living under the assumed name Camilla in the Barony of al-Barran in the Kingdom of the Outlands.  She forged new interests, cultivated new talents, and found new love. A wonderful full-hearted love, that nearly destroyed her when she discovered it was but one-sided.

In secret she returned to her birth land, Jararvellir, with a broken heart for the man she feared she would love until her last breathe and a handful of broken dreams - fragments of promise left behind so long ago.  She remained in hiding for many years, her fear to make known her return was strong, living a secluded life until word reached her that the evil dastard she fled was no more.
