1590s Samurai, roughly a contemporary of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. From Inaba clan, a distant relative of Inaba Ittetsu. After heavy losses fighting the Asai clan, served Oda Nobunaga after he overran Mino Province, our home province, serving with Toyotomi Hideyoshi after death of Nobunaga. Trained to fight with spear and naginata in youth, became skilled in binding of wounds, treating illness and midwifery. Family divided over Toyotomi decision to invade China. He has become ill, and a council of regents has been formed to look after the interests of the heir until he comes of age. However, this is very unstable, Some currently are serving Tokugawa Ieyasu, one of the regents. Widowed and remarried, my second husband is currently serving in Korea. After all the battles and loss of family members, I have become a lay Buddhist nun, living with daughter-in-law, going on pilgrimages and gathering information. Also knowledgeable about textiles, textile designs and Japanese heraldry. Depending on outcome of expected war among regents, may need to seek refuge in monastery.
