I am pleased to announce Spring Coronation will be hosted by the Shire of Korsväg, and Spring Crown Tournament will be hosted by the Barony of Windhaven. Please look to the Kingdom calendar for details.
I still need for bids for 2017 Fall Coronation and Crown. If your group is planning on bidding please let me know. If you have questions about the bid process and what is required to host a Kingdom event, I am happy to walk you through the process. Bids for Fall Coronation and Crown are due January 1, 2017.
Don’t forget Seneschal reports are due December 1!
Last call for applications for Stallari Secretary and Kingdom Chatelaine. Please contact the current officers if you have questions about the job duties. To apply, please send in your modern and SCA resume to me by December 1.
Last month, I wrote in my letter that the deadline for event publications is the 25th of the month. In discussions with Stallari, it was felt the 15th would be easier to remember. This was decided right before last month’s publication. The reason for this change of policy is to give the Events Information Officer and the Northwatch team time to prepare ads for publication. It is not fair to our officers to return incomplete event ad information or have to chase groups for event details at the last minute. We all volunteer our time so please be courteous of your fellow officers. As always, if you have questions on this, please feel free to contact me.
