Greetings unto the Populace of Northshield,
As we approach the feast day of Saint Valentine, I encourage one and all to show your branch exchequer some love (thanks, chocolate, coffee, treats, hugs, etc.). They have just finished your group's Doomsday report and the annual budget, both endeavors demonstrating their devotion and commitment to the SCA. I extend my personal thanks to all the exchequers for their hard work during this busy time.
As we start looking ahead to spring and summer events, I want to share a slide from a class I taught at Officer’s Days 2016 to help the populace understand the role of the office of the exchequer. This slide lists all the key activities and responsibilities that fall under the office of the exchequer for events. As shown, the responsibilities are numerous. Yet, another reason to show your local exchequer some love.
