August 2009 Northwatch Missive

Greetings,

As Our time on the Griffin Thrones grows short, another Warriors and Warlords has taken place with great success. We would like to thank everyone who helped to make it one of the premier events in Our Kingdom.

By the time this missive reaches you, We will be at the Great Pennsic War mustering Our forces to stand with the Midrealm. We would like to thank everyone who contributed their time, talents, and resources into making this a War to remember. This War has the makings of something special for Northshield. Northshield is poised to play a significant role on the Heavy field, the Rapier field and in Archery. This would not be possible without the selfless contributions and support of Our great populace.

As you are reading this, Northshield’s word fame is reaching to the far corners of the Known World, speaking of Our honorable and fierce warriors and fencers, of highly skilled archers, of truly gifted bards and artisans. Each year Northshield’s renown grows. This is a glorious testament to the hard work, skill and devotion all of you show in your chosen areas of expertise and of the love we all share for this great Kingdom

We look forward to attending Ages of War and The Skye is the Limit in the next few weeks. The final decision of who will become the next Baron and Baroness of Castle Rouge will be made sometime mid-August, and will be announced at that time. We anticipate with great pleasure traveling to Our oldest Barony and installing the future leaders there, We hope to see many you there to help support them in their endeavors.
