The Crown List (Fall 2009)

Greetings unto the Hall,

In a dramatic turn of events, it appears that the couriers carrying the
petitions of Count Valerius and Baron Vlad were slain by a beast Her Majesty
calls the "Gmail Spam Filter"

Wise is She in the ways of such creatures. She did track the creature to
it's very den, slayed it, and extracted their petitions from the beasts very
jowls.

Finding all their documents in order, Our Crown List shall now read thus:

Greetings unto the assembled Peers, Nobility, and Gentility,

A host of worthy Gentles have petitioned the Crown of Northshield for the
privilege of serving the Kingdom as Our Heirs.

But history has shown us, the summer months are taxing. In the season of
war the Northshield Army must be led by the strongest of leaders and spurred
on by the greatest inspiration. Therefore We will test the mettle of the
Combatants on Our Crown Lists in the Barony of Windhaven on October 10th
A.S. XLIV.

Should the inspiration of anyone Combatant prove sufficient to win the day,
then They and Their Consort will join Us at the head of the Table of Our
great Northshield Family as Prince and Princess.

Let it now be known that on the occasion of Northshield's 12th Crown
Tournament, 12 worthy Combatants inspired by 12 worthy Consorts will contend
for one of the greatest opportunities to serve Northshield that Our Kingdom
can afford them.
