Minutes from 10/9/2010 - Fall Crown

Present:

 I. Introductions of Kingdom Officers to Their Highnesses Morgan and Lusche

II. Seneschal Update

• Currently working on Kingdom Event Laws & Policies

• Event Guideline for the 150 Mile rule

• Soliciting bids for upcoming Coronation and Crown events

• Accepting applications for: Chronicler, Kingdom Earl Marshal, SUN Chancellor, Law Clerk, Chatelaine

III. Chirurgeon Successor

• Applicant is Fiona the Younger.  Has EMT qualifications, lives in Madison

• Application accepted

• Turnover will occur at Nordskogen Twelfth Night

IV. KEM update -- new Clerk of the Roster will be starting

• Dauyd Straquhyn

V. Northshield Pavilion Planning

• Survey is not ready for discussion -- gathering the results from Survey Monkey. (If the Kingdom needs a membership to Survey Monkey, Kenric will donate the fee)

• Owen will donate the overage from the Camp Fund to cover this years? Pennsic transport shortfall.

VI. Exchequer Update

• Their Highnesses Travel Fund currently stands at $0.  Seeking fundraising opportunities

• SUN Fund is $117.  Unsure if there are currently SUN expenses pending.

VII. Law Clerk

• Need to be cautious about language suggesting that oaths of fealty are required for applicants to an office, as this is prohibited by Corpora. Alternate forms such as pledges of service must be allowed. 

• One applicant for a successor tentatively received: Grimmund.  Strong possibility of a second applicant.

VIII. Minister of Arts & Sciences Update

• Looking for applicants for SUN Chancellor and A&S Faire coordinator

• Planning to work on the Northstar

IX. Chronicler Update

• 2 possible applicants, possibility that neither one could take the office until Spring 2011

• Elashava requests an extension until Spring Coronation, just in case this is needed.  Request granted.
