Greetingsto you and to the New Year! I hope you are enjoying the sit-by-the-fire Wintermonths while anticipating warm weather ahead, and that you are finding arts andsciences to pursue suitable to the season.
As you may beaware, these missives are written a month or more in advance. It wasn’tappropriate to write this last month as SUN had not taken place and so anythingI would have said would have been made up, fantasy, and so not honest. So hereat the end of November, having spoken to people who attended and having readthe praise and appreciation on the internet, I would like to thank MistressMargaret Fitzwilliam of Kent for an excellent Stellar University ofNorthshield. She and those she recruited to teach brought learning andencouragement to many. The Shire of Rudivale hosted a wonderful event toenhance the enjoyment of everyone at the event. Thank you all for furtheringA&S in Northshield.
Lookingforward into January, I am pleased that both 12th Night celebrations havestrong A&S components, especially as I know this information was postedwell in advance to the event websites, to the Hall and even to FaceBook! It isa courtesy to the artisans and scientists of our kingdom to give them time tocomplete entries and I want to say “well done!” to any event steward who makessure this is in place.
