Greetings!
No policy updates or reporting requirement changes this month, and I am not aware of any upcoming changes. However, as all Branch Exchequers are preparing quarterly reports, I will take this opportunity to remind you of the quarterly reporting requirements.
• 20th of January, April, July, October: electronic quarterly / annual report AND ledger (photo of the checkbook register is fine, if the group does not use the electronic ledger) to your regional.
• Last day of those months: signed quarterly report.
• Bank statements and reconciliations should be sent in monthly.
• Those in the Central region send all info to Kingdom because the Central Regional Exchequer position is currently open.
There is no requirement to send in a monthly report; only the reconciliation and bank statement is required. The reconciliation can be as simple as filling out the form that is attached to most bank statements. There is also a reconciliation file on the NS website that will calculate for you; it is in the Forms section of the Exchequer’s page.
And, finally, because I will say this every month – THANK YOU to all of our hardworking exchequers! I see all of you and how your efforts keep the Society going.
