In case of inclement weather we have a back up site at the 1905 Opera House, 108 Dakota Avenue N, Wessington SpringsSD 57382  Additionally some site activities may take place at Shakespeare Gardens, 501 Alene Ave N, Wessington Springs, SD 57382


Planned Activities:  This year the event will continue to focus on arts and sciences.  We are looking for instructors to teach classes that are open to the public as well as discussions over different time periods..  Please contact the event steward if you are interested in teaching.  

Site Opens 5PM Friday and closes 1PM on Sunday.

No Site fees

The city park allows camping at the following rates:
$10/night for non-electric (per family) $15/night for electric hook ups (Family).
  Those fee's are paid on site to the City of Wessington Springs.

No merchant fee but contact event steward by March 15th to line up the appropriate state tax ID's. If no merchants contact us by that point no merchants will be allowed.

Saturday there will be a potluck feast.   The shire is providing meat and requests a $3 freewill donation to cover costs.  We will also do a brunch on Saturday in the late morning. 

Accessibility: Rough, hilly terrain in city park. Some level sidewalks around site building
and it is handicapped accessible.  There are showers on site.

Population space is available.  There are showers on site.
