Travel and Transportation:

Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is ~8 miles away from the site lodging. Multiple airlines serve MKE, and while there is not a shuttle from the airport to the event site, there is public transportation, Uber and Lyft easily accessible and at reasonable rates. Milwaukee is approximately 90 miles north of Chicago, and located on the I-94 corridor. There is an Amtrak and Greyhound station less than a mile from the event site, which includes a commuter train from Chicago.

For those with limited mobility, a courtesy shuttle run by the event is planned to assist persons in moving between the event site and the lodging site.  If you anticipate needing this shuttle (the event site and lodging site are ~0.4 miles apart along city sidewalks/paved paths), please pre-register and let us know in your pre-registration so we can judge capacity needs.

Event Space:

Saturday and Sunday classes will be held in the William Wehr Physics building on the Marquette campus. The Physics building is fully handicapped accessible, with push-button doors at the SW corner, all external doors at-grade (no stairs), and an elevator to all three event floors.  Class and social spaces will be primarily on the first and second floors, with Saturday lunch served from the third floor.  All event spaces have complimentary wi-fi.  Campus and event rules, including alcohol, weapons, and tobacco policies, can be found here: https://www.caeranterth.org/event-info-1

Event Schedule:

Heraldic and Scribal classes are scheduled for Saturday.  Heraldic Road Show and additional Scribal Classes are scheduled for Sunday.  A special visit to the manuscript collection at the Marquette Library has been arranged for Saturday morning–seats are limited and pre-registration will be required (details will be forthcoming).  Court is at the whim of TRM Northshield.  Online schedule will be updated as further information is available:  https://www.caeranterth.org/schedule-1

Class Proposals & Schedule:

Class proposals will be accepted starting in early April, and will close in late May.  Each of the classrooms has a projector and a camera for showing documents or works-in-progress.  Instructors may bring their own laptops or arrange to use in-room computers

A full class list and class schedule will be posted after class proposals close, and will be available on the website, likely in early June.  No pre-registration is necessary for most classes (any exceptions will be noted): https://www.caeranterth.org/classes
