I am an 9th century (around 871-901 A.D) Anglo-Saxon Male alive during Alfred's reign. I am a sweordhwíta (Sword Polisher or Furbisher) which is a sort of craftsman referenced in the laws of Alfred, though the specifics of the job description are open to speculation. 

I like scrolls or scroll like objects based on period finds from the Anglo Saxon Period in either Old English or Latin, but if I’m recommended for equestrian, archery, or service based awards I would like if it could be something inspired from the Achaemenid Persian Empire (550-330 BC). Scrolls from outside these periods and places are fine and very fun!
