NS Arts and Sciences Open Division revisions to deadline dates approved. Changes to be published by that office.
Revised Youth combat policy submitted for discussion and approved. Changes published by the responsible office.
KMOAS applications received and reviewed. Mistress Eithni selected as the incoming KMoAS.
Crown bids– the Fall 2016 Crown Tournament will be held in Nordskogen, notifications were sent by the Kingdom Seneschal.
Coronation bids – The Fall 2016 Coronation event bid submitted by Border Downs/Svaty Sebesta was accepted. The event will take place in Yankton, SD
Out of kingdom travel approvals – TRH are approved to attend Gulf Wars, SCA 50 Year,Pennsic and her Highness attending Known World Heralds and Scribes.
Request for travel fund support for Signet to attend KWHS – declined
2016 NS budget approved
Proposed Authorization card policy – The KEM proposed that the following be added as policy: If a combatant does not send an updated consent to participate waiver to the clerk of the roster, and contact the clerk of the roster to receive an updated authorization card within 60 days of their current authorization card expiring they will need to perform an authorization. All in favour. KEM to publish the change accordingly.
User profile drive at events – To facilitate the creation of individual profile pages on the Northshield website, the Webminister’s office, with support from others as available, will begin hosting ‘build your profile’ support and access points at events, including a camera and laptop. Full support from council.
Officer’s day bids – Korsvag submitted the winning bid and has been notified by the Kingdom Seneschal. Event to take place August 27, 2016.
SCA 50 commemorative booklet – discussion regarding the return on financial investment and on the person hours required to shepherd the project forward in a short amount of time. Cost for being included $300 USD to reserve a ‘Kingdom heritage page’. Declined.
Law changes were posted for discussion in 2015 and were read into Court at Tournament of Chivalry.
