October Missive

Greetings, Northshield!

We are still working on long-term solutions for the future of the Northshield website. I hope people aren't seeing problems, and are instead seeing the tiny little improvements and changes
that we're making every week.

Of course, everyone within sight of my words has created a profile. Right? Northshield website profiles are essential for growth and bringing order out of chaos, and essential to tracking
authorizations, offices, and awards in the Kingdom. If you want to create one, or update an existing one, look in the top right corner of almost every page on the Northshield website.

Another resource on the website is artwork. We keep digital photos of many of the scrolls (paper and otherwise) created by our talented and amazing artisans, found at http://www.northshield.org/OrderOfPrecedence/AwardGallery.aspx?AS. We have other plans for this area, and you'll see more from me later on the topic. If you have scrolls that you would like to see added, please contact the Polaris Signet at signet@northshield.org. (Artists, don't forget to fill out a waiver for artwork at
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1IkX1JZU9dH4X8LCmNKmXdnDRNKMoUCP1g8n5wXrkdeA/viewform).

Heraldic images can be found at http://www.northshield.org/Resources/HeraldicImages.aspx — suitable for downloading and adding to your own digital things. Except, actually, not. These images are (for the most part) not very high quality. I would like to make higher-quality images available for the use of the general populace, but I don't have any. And here's where you come in: if you have high-quality and/or digital versions of these badges, suitable for using with embroidery machines or high-res graphics, please send them to me. I will be happy to attribute them to you. And you'll be helping the Kingdom. And I'll be happy. If you do submit such things, please include the above waiver as well.

Happy webbing!
Abelard
