Now is the time to get your award recommendations in for events coming up this winter! Surely we have all seen people doing good works, heroic deeds, or nerdy stuff? Write those letters NOW! Our Royalty need time to contemplate the recommendations before adding them to the court list, the Signet needs time to sort it all out and get the assignments to the scribes, and the scribes want at least four weeks to finish their assignments so they do not feel rushed. Rule of thumb; six to eight weeks out is the best time to send in award recs. If the event is sooner than that, you waited too long! Go forth, and put in your recommendations!
